Cherry blossoms, a suitcase, and a key to a room that costs almost nothing.
シバつき物件
A room too cheap to be normal
Kori & Mu comes from Shiba Inu Rooms (シバつき物件), the manga by Esu Omori that TMS Entertainment is turning into a TV anime for summer 2027.
High-schooler Kori Momose finds an apartment that's almost too good to be true: room 101 of Maison Shiba for just 4,800 yen a month. The catch shows up the moment the landlord opens the closet. Mu, an earthbound Shiba Inu spirit, glares back at her and has no plans to leave.
Kori tries charms, salt and every exorcism trick she can think of, and Mu just naps through all of it. Their battle slowly turns into something warmer: shared dinners, quiet nights and an odd friendship, all in a building full of quirky neighbors and their own Shibas.
Kori & Mu is a community token built around that cozy, funny and slightly haunted story. It's about one cool girl, one smug ghost dog and the room that brought them together. Move in, settle down and make yourself at home in room 101.
Niina Nakabayashi voices Kori. Mutsumi Tamura voices Mu.
